2024 will be a comeback year for so many makeup trends that we left years and half a decade ago. For example, 2016’s full glam makeup look was popular for every event. Whether it is daily wear, office, or any occasion. The shimmery cut crease, bold lashes, sculpted defined eyebrows, and big bright lips would never be missed, no matter how long it took. Famous Indian beauty and makeup influencers like Malvika Sitlani, Mrunal Panchal, Aashna Shroff, and more have posted tutorials and other tips regarding this year’s makeup trends. Worldwide makeup influencers believe this year will be the comeback of many 2016 and ’90s makeup looks. It would be a blast, and they were so ready for this. We saw minimal concealing was the most popular trend after the pandemic, but this year triangle concealer is prepared for its comeback. You can find some other references and trends below this paragraph.
Base- it’s not necessary to have a thick makeup base for this look. But if you are wearing this look after the skincare, mix a few drops of liquid highlighter in your moisturiser; you can even use powder highlighter. This step will give your skin a natural, glowy look.
Eyes– after completing your base, add neutral or any colour of eyeshadow of your choice on the lids and on the waterline of your eyes. Apply the eyeshadow on the outer corners of the eyes, or apply it on the crease to the outer corner with a fluffy blending or flat eye brush. Then apply a shimmery eyeshadow on the eyelids; if you don’t have shimmers, apply your highlighter with your ring finger. Then, use the same eyeshadow on your waterline. Don’t go close to tear ducts. Complete this eye look with mascara and liner. You can add fake lashes if you want.

Lips- for lips, you can wear the lip shade you desire or the one that matches your dress and complete this look with clear or shimmery lipgloss.

Tips- Soft glam looks great with a thin makeup base; use bronzer and concealer for the base. We suggest using neutral eyeshadows and rose gold or copper shimmer for the eye makeup. Avoid dramatic lashes and eyeliner; wear light fake lashes for a more subtle look. If you are a brown-skinned girl and think that not every lip colour suits you, then line your lips with a brown lip liner and apply any lip shade you want. For blush, you can match it with your lips or can apply peach blush.
2016’s Dramatic Makeup look
Base- a full makeup base with the necessary contour and blushing is required for this look.
Eyes- cut crease, smokey eyes, or single eyeshadow with shimmer only in the middle of the eyelid. This look was only completed with Dramatic, long lashes and winged eyeliner.

Lips- Red, magenta, and brown matte lip shades would define this look more.
Tips- do your eyes first before the base because eyeshadow dust sometimes ruins the base. Apply a sheet mask or any face pack for a strong base; Primer the face after moisturising it.

Soft, smokey eyes with double-wing
This eye makeup look is quite famous among brides these days. This eye makeup is versatile and easy to do. First, conceal your eyelids with a white base or concealer. Apply brown shade on the crease and blend with brush. Apply the eyeshadow you want to wear on your eyelids and blend it with a matching colour of the eyeshadow you applied. For the double wing, take an eyeliner brush and make a small wing on the outer corner and one from the outer of the waterline. Use a small, thin brush to separate the wings from between with the help of concealer. Complete this eye look with mascara or fake lashes.

Reverse contouring
All you have to do is conceal only a few specific points on your face, then blend it, and it’s done. It merely takes a minute.
Mattiefied base and ombre lips
Base- This technique is proven to be the best for a long-lasting, mattified base. After the skin prep, Apply a mattifying primer and dab your compact or loose powder all over the face with a big fluffy brush. Remove the left powder with the same brush and spray setting spray. This way, you’ll have a smooth, mattified base that will last long and won’t disappear from your concealer or foundation.
Lips- achieving ombre lips is relatively easy. You don’t need to buy separate lip brushes for it. Most dermatologists and beauticians suggest that blending your concealer, blush and lipstick with your fingers gives a perfect and cleaner look. Plus, it is hygienic, too.
Tips- Remember to wear sunscreen and moisturiser even if you are doing a mattified look. For ombre lips, we suggest going with brown lip liners and nudes, as they are classic and look great on all skin tones.

Base- A natural glam base only requires good skincare, and a thin makeup base. Conceal your under eyes, marks and blemishes of the face if you have.
Blush- use a pink blush powder or tint upwards on the cheeks.
Lips- any lipshade of your choice.
Tips- We suggest only concealing your under eyes, avoiding the waterline for this look’s base. Use the same tint for blush and lips for a more natural look. Avoid using eyeliner, but wear mascara.

Triangle concealer
We witnessed the less concealer trend becoming popular after the pandemic, but this heavy concealing under your eyes, AKA triangle concealer, is ready to show its worth.
Elevated lashes
After the pandemic, sunshine makeup and sunkissed blushes are makeup trends that have spread all over the beauty world. We also saw the craze of permanent eyelash extensions, but this year, mascara lashes will be popular. Easy-to-remove mascara lashes will blast this year’s beauty trends.

Conclusion
Every skin type and texture is different and requires different products and skin care. The pictures here are for reference purposes; the results of all of the makeup looks would be different on every skin tone and texture. The basic skincare and hydration is important. Use the setting spray at the end of all makeup looks to fix and last them for a long. Wear the look that gives you confidence without anyone’s concerns or suggestions. Your choice matters the most.
